Why recoding may be needed
We recommend disabling Remote Software Upgrade in your vehicle to help ensure your custom coding and programming is not overwritten.
When bringing the car to the dealer for service, ask that the dealer does not perform software updates unless you approve them. If an update still happens, eligible prior purchases can be recoded at the special discounted rate of 50% off.
New customers
Purchase services normally first. Recoding eligibility is based on completed prior purchases.
Same VIN
The discount applies only to services previously purchased for the same vehicle VIN.
Same service
Only matching services from your prior completed order can be purchased as recoding.
